Vandegrift High School is a Leander Independent School District high school serving grades ninth through twelfth. The school was founded in 2009 and is named after United States Marine Corps First Lieutenant Matthew Ryan Vandegrift, who was killed in action in Iraq.

The school offers Advanced Placement classes and dual credit classes in conjunction with Austin Community College. Historically, the school achieves above average rankings in academics, college readiness, and extracurricular activities.
