Bowie High School is an Austin Independent School District high school serving grades ninth through twelfth. It is located in southwest Austin at 4103 W. Slaughter Ln. in 78749. The school was founded in 1988 on land donated by the nearby master-planned subdivision of Circle C Ranch.

It offers Advanced Placement classes, dual credit classes, Air Force JROTC, and numerous career and technology programs, such as Culinary Arts, Hotel/Resort Management, Agricultural Science, and Computer Technology. It also has robust athletic and extracurricular activities. The school has received numerous awards from the Texas Education Agency and was named a five-star school by Texas Monthly Magazine.

Its motto is Pride in Performance. The school teams are called the Bulldogs, with the colors black, red, and silver.
