Nestled in the heart of South Austin are the homes of Sendera, a charming and popular neighborhood known for affordable prices and a variety of home sizes. This quiet, family-friendly community is minutes away from Whole Foods Market, Costco, H.E.B Grocery and four popular movie theater complexes, not to mention a dozen nature preserves, scores of retail stores, and over 30 restaurants. Properties in Sendera

Established in the 1990’s, Sendera is composed of over 800 homes in three lovely subdivisions: The Glen, The Place, and The Oaks. Most homes were built between 1995 and 2004. A stroll through the community reveals shaded sidewalks, established trees, well-manicured lawns, and one- and two-story homes. Most homes in Sendera are brick or natural Texas stone construction. Prospective buyers will find homes with many different features and varying degrees of modern upgrades. Three-bedroom, two-bath homes dominate the Sendera market, but four bedroom floor plans also can be found.

All residents in Sendera are members of the Homeowners’ Association, which requires a small monthly fee. The Association creates and regulates neighborhood rules, plans events throughout the year, enforces deed restrictions on properties, and mandates ordinances. It also leads a neighborhood watch program, a garden club, and a yard of the month program.
