Shopping and Restaurants
Situated about halfway between southwest Austin and the town of Dripping Springs, residents have opportunities to enjoy the conveniences of both.
Near the entrance of the neighborhood is a large Trudy’s Four Star, an expansion of the popular restaurant and bar found in Austin. With indoor, outdoor, and rooftop dining, Trudy’s Four Star is a short hop from Belterra and often filled to the brim with its residents.
To the east (toward Austin) is the Nutty Brown Café and Amphitheatre, a well-liked and long established tradition in live music, with an indoor and outdoor venue and restaurant. Just east of Nutty Brown is the Thirsty Planet Brewing Company, which offers tours and tastings.
Seton Southwest Hospital is only about six miles east of Belterra, also off of Highway 290. On the north side of the highway in that area is the Austin Community College Pinnacle Campus.
