Teravista is a large, master-planned community between Round Rock and Georgetown. Construction began in 2002, and builders include Castlerock, Centerra Homes, D. R. Horton, Lennar, Meritage Homes, Ryland, Spicewood Garden Homes, Village Builders, and Wilshire Homes. Homes are a variety of sizes and price ranges and, in general, are priced lower than similar homes within Austin proper. Many homes back to greenbelt or golf course areas.

A top feature of Teravista is the Teravista Golf Club, which winds through the neighborhood with its 7,200 yard, 18-hole championship course. The course includes a practice facility with a 22,000-square-foot putting green and a double-ended driving range, a 5,000-square-foot clubhouse with a pro shop, a café, and GPS on every golf cart. The Teravista course has received seven “Best of Public Golf Awards” by Avid Golfer and was named the top “Beginner Friendly Course” by the National Golf Course Owners Association.

The Teravista Residents Club also serves as an important gathering place for residents. It includes a clubhouse with an events room, a Junior Olympic pool, a children’s splash pool, a fitness center, basketball courts, lighted tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, and playgrounds. Teravista has two additional pool complexes, including the Wildflower Park and Club, and miles of trails connecting the neighborhood and its various playscapes.

Some areas of Teravista are zoned for the Round Rock Independent School District, and some are zoned for the Georgetown Independent School District. There also are two early childhood schools onsite – Stepping Stone School and Kids R Kids.

Residents benefit from the shopping and restaurants in both towns and are close to an HEB grocery store, the Round Rock Premium Outlets, and much more.
