Two New Luxury Communities Coming Soon to Lake Travis and Spicewood

Two new luxury home communities are underway in the west of Austin areas of Lake Travis and Spicewood.
In Lake Travis, the initial 50 homesites in Travis Club have been sold, according to the Austin Business Journal. This luxury home neighborhood will have 274 single-family lots and 223 villa units. Lot prices begin at $775k and are half an acre to about three acres.
The 1,000+ acre resort-style development will have an 18-hole golf course, a community club, and 30 miles of hiking and biking trails. The community also will feature 10,000 linear feet of waterfront property.
Construction on the first phase of 106 homesites will begin in the final quarter of 2023. Construction on the golf course begins in Spring of 2024. Developers and designers include Menlo Park, Haas & Haynie Corp., Castle Hill Partners Inc., Hart Howerton, and Beau Welling Design.
In Spicewood, the first phase of Thomas Ranch will begin construction in early 2024. Loraloma will have 450 to 480 lots on 1,300 acres, according to Community Impact Newspaper. Options include cottages, estates, villas, and custom homebuilding lots. Plans start at 5,000 square feet with two to five bedrooms. These homes are likely to begin in the upper $1 million range.
The entire master-planned community will be 2,200 acres and will include 40 miles of trails, an 18-hole golf course with a clubhouse, a kids’ club, a fitness area, a spa, and an equestrian center. It will also have Limestone Gulch Park, which will feature swimming holes, fishing ponds, barns, a dance hall, and an amphitheater.
