Eanes Independent School District encompasses a beautiful stretch of land that encircles several large subdivisions in the Texas Hill Country on the border of Austin. Each neighborhood has the advantage of being part of one of the best school districts in the country, but they also have unique properties based on community character and proximity to businesses and attractions. Barton Creek West

Barton Creek West is a quiet community of 398 homes located in the southwest hills of Austin. The community has amenities that include a junior Olympic swim center, playground, entertainment pool, and over 400 acres of protected greenbelt along Barton Creek. The greenbelt is populated by thick stands of native trees and plants that are habitat for many birds (including several endangered species) and wildlife. The major nearby roads include Bee Caves Rd to the north, Southwest Parkway to the south, Barton Creek Blvd to the east, and Hwy 71 to the west. Nearby attractions include Barton Creek Spa and Resort, The Shops at the Galleria, and Barton Creek Mall. As part of the Eanes Independent School District, the zoned schools include Barton Creek Elementary, West Ridge Middle School, and Westlake High School.

The subdivision features a variety of housing styles, sizes, and prices with a wide range of upscale properties, including single-family homes and luxury homes. The prestigious schools zoned for the neighborhood include Bridge Point Elementary, Forest Trail Elementary, Hill Country Middle School, and the nationally recognized Westlake High School.
