Hula Hut and Mozart’s Host Christmas Lights Photo Contest!

Get your cameras ready, Austin photographers! Mozart’s Coffee Roasters and Hula Hut are hosting an “All About Texas Christmas Lights” Photo Contest. Submit your most memorable Christmas lights photo by December 18, 2012 for a chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes!

“Hula Hut and Mozart’s are favorite places for Austinites year-round, and their seasonal Christmas lights are a fun treat,” said Austin Home Search Expert Brian Talley. “I think it’s great they are promoting this contest. This theme reminds me of Christmastime in childhood: when everything seems possible, Santa Claus is real, and the world is perfect – all because of the magical twinkle of those colored lights.”

The Christmas lights photo contest is open to amateurs, professionals, and children for photos taken between November 15 and December 18, 2012. All photos must have Christmas lights in them and must be taken somewhere in Texas. First Place prize is an iPad. Second place prize is a $300 gift card to Mozart’s Coffee Roasters and a $300 gift card to Hula Hut. Third Place prize is a $150 gift card to Mozart’s Coffee Roasters and a $150 gift card to Hula Hut. And, 15 Honorable Mentions each will receive a $25 gift card to Mozart’s Coffee Roasters and a $25 gift card to Hula Hut.

Winners will be announced during a special event hosted by Mozart’s Coffee Roasters and Hula Hut on Thursday, December 20th from 7:30pm-9:30pm.

Mozart’s Coffee Roasters and Hula Hut are perennial Austin favorites, in their shoreline homes on Lake Austin. Hula Hut is known for its fun Tiki-Mex atmosphere with a gigantic deck that juts out over the lake for Austin “sea-side” dining. Mozart’s is known as one of the best places in town to people watch and take pictures or to relish a casual date, while enjoying a selection of gourmet coffees, specialty beverages, gelatos, and home-made artisan desserts.
