Delish Bakery Serves Up Delicious and Gluten Free Treats to Downtown Austin

Delish is an Austin bakery nestled in the popular 2^nd Street District, not far from the Barton Creek neighborhood, that offers shoppers and sweet-toothed Austinites a reprieve from busy days with glasses of cold milk and plates of warm cupcakes. Founder Lisa Matulis opened Delish in Austin after starting her baking career by supplying treats to photo shoots and events in New York City. Today, her bakery has been pleasing palates for over 3 years, catering to both the taste buds and dietary restrictions of her customers.

One of the features that sets Delish apart is its dedication to delicious, contamination controlled gluten-free cupcakes. Matulis’ foray into gluten free started when she baked for a friend’s daughter with celiac disease. Through trial and error, she created a gluten-free recipe that has earned her accolades from gluten-free food writers across the state.

Brides also have become fans of Delish cupcakes, selecting personalized cupcakes to stand in place of or alongside a wedding cake for an elegant but playful touch to a reception held in one of many beautiful Austin venues, like a Lake Travis overlook or the whimsical Dunvegan Keep close to the Circle C neighborhood in southwest Austin.
