One of the first things you’ll notice on our search page is a map filled with Austin area communities. This is a great feature if you already have narrowed down your focus to a few neighborhoods. Simply click on the desired neighborhood, and you’ll automatically be taken to a page filled with, of course, home listings – but also information on the neighborhood itself, such as schools and amenities, plus plenty of pictures to help you get a “feel” for what the neighborhood is like. Many pages even will offer quotes from residents so you can experience an insider’s perspective – an invaluable asset when home searching. See an example page, with Travis Heights.

Choose what’s important to you

To the right of the map, you’ll see a box with choices you can select to highlight variables. These include things such as schools, property values, grocery stores, and traffic data, or you can define larger areas by zip code.

What was that neighborhood we liked again, honey?

West … ridge? West … view? Don’t worry! We’ve got this problem solved. On the top of the screen, type in any neighborhood (or partial neighborhood) and the field form will auto populate with options. We include areas, actual subdivisions, school-specific searches, and more.

And you’ll see the available listings – and where they are located. Click on your desired location, and it will zoom in, allowing you to place your cursor over each listing, “highlighting” it for a quick view. Click for a more detailed look at the property.
