It’s always been real estate for me. During college I worked part-time in the mortgage industry and fell in love with the process and the excitement that people found when they were able to improve their lives through the purchase of a new home. A few years later I moved to the appraisal side and worked with appraisers throughout the country. This allowed me to work more closely with the individual properties and learn how value is created and determined.
My experiences in so many aspects of real estate have enabled me to excel with surpassing the expectations of my clients in many ways. I know the pros and cons of various neighborhoods throughout the city, and am able to align attributes with desires of my clients. I pride myself in my ability to sell homes for top dollar through many systems that I have developed over the years. I partner with Zillow and use print, neighborhood prospecting, and numerous forums to get the home sold quickly for the largest amount possible.
I currently live with my wife in Southwest Austin (Covered Bridge) and our two dogs. In our free time we like to kayak and take advantage of the numerous watering holes that this beautiful city has to offer. We take part in as many community events as possible and are active in keeping Austin beautiful.

"We've been extremely happy with Andy's help in our home buying process. As international expats, who had a lot of processes we needed to both understand and complete before making a purchase, Andy's patience, expertise, responsiveness and helpfulness was invaluable to us and the end result was we got to buy the home of our dreams at an attractive price very soon after our arrival in US. We met Andy at an open house about half a year before we relocated to US and we felt that his professionalism and expertise in the market was what we were looking for, and since he also expressed interest in our particular situation, we chose to work with him. Andy was straightforward and transparent, giving us an overview of how the market looks like in Austin, TX and pros/cons of each local community. He invested significant time in giving us tours and bringing us to houses, even though he knew at the time that our actual ability to make a decision was still several months away. During the process he also provided great assistance in helping us find a temporary home to start out in until we were logistically ready to make a purchase. Trust is a key when you don’t have the complete picture of the city, price and features and having Andy as realtor helping us, even remotely while we were still in Denmark, was extremely valuable for us. We highly recommend Andy, because he understood our needs as buyers. We have been approached by many other realtors during the process, but we never hesitated about Andy competences. Real estate market is very competitive and as buyer, sometimes you feel overwhelmed of how realtors are selling themselves, trying to offer assets that do not match your own needs. Andy has always struck us as a "show it, don't say it" kind of guy and he has truly shown us that he was the right choice for us."
"As someone who doesn't have a lot of "bandwidth" for the minutia of purchasing a home/condo, Let me say that Andy made the process seamless. He intuitively seemed to know when to fill me in, and when to just "handle things". He was responsive to any and all requests. I cannot think of anything that Andy could have done differently to streamline the process, and have nothing but gratitude for his efforts! Should I be in a position of recommending/referring an agent to someone embarking on the home-buying journey, I will not hesitate to proffer Andy as reliable, conscientious and knowledgeable! Thank you Andy for everything you did to make this dream of mine a reality!"
"I had a great experience working with Andy. Andy was very professional, patient, generous and kind with me"
"Andy was amazing with the sale of the home. I appreciate how no-nonsense upfront he is. He helped with small things in getting the home ready for selling - weeding, meeting contractors with me for closet build, etc. It was really great having him as a sounding board. He was also great with (our previous purchase.) The day I drove by and met the owner prior to it being placed on the market, he went that evening and looked at it. Once again, his diy experience was great in asking him general ballpark ideas to change things up or fix it."
"My wife and I accidentally ran into Andy at one of the open house showings he had in Covered Bridge. We reached out to Andy because he left a great impression on us when we first met him. He then allowed us to figure out what we wanted in a house and neighborhood by showing us a lot of different options, and when we were finally ready to decide, he made everything easy and clear. We look forward to continuing to work with him as we plan to sell our old house. He's been fantastic at providing advice on the work we're doing there to make sure we get the most bang for our money. Andy has been great!"
