Are There any Negatives to Condo Living in Central Austin?

Condos in downtown Austin will likely have a higher cost per square foot than comparable homes in outlying regions due to the high property values. In addition, parking may be an issue for households with multiple vehicles, and permits may need to be purchased from the condo building for access to additional spaces. The bustling downtown district may not be a good match for those who crave tranquility and serenity, with its numerous music festivals and organized gatherings.

Under normal traffic conditions, it should take about 15 minutes to reach Austin Bergstrom International Airport. Under the heaviest of Austin traffic, it should take no more than 35 min.
